SUNDAY

9:30 am --- got up and checked the countertop

10:45 am --- left house to drive Dada to work. Decided to ask Grandma Jan to watch Brandon so I can continue (or end) my crazy project.

1:00 pm --- the rest of the counter top painted.

2:30 pm --- lower counter top coated with varathane --- it was a disaster.

3:00 pm --- went to Menardsto return extra paint coat and try spray instead. Called Dada to ask for moral boost --- a simple I love you did it.

3:30pm --- painted over the lower countertop to cover the "grains" and "alligator--ing" but did not work SO --- STRIPPED it!

5:00pm --- exhausted, hungry, deliirous, but HAPPY. Cleaned up the mess and with black paint still all over my nails, tried to relax.

At this point, I am going to wait for the paint to fully dry before I attempt to seal it.
